About Me

I'm a passionate Mass Communications college graduate specializing in reporting, photography, and videography. I've excelled in various positions over eight years as a freelance photographer and five years as a reporter. My experience includes my current position as a reporter and photographer for 225 Magazine. Throughout my college career, I have experience working as an intern with PFLAG New Orleans, Josh Hailey Studios, and Gambit Weekly. I also worked on my university's award-winning newspaper, The Maroon, first as a writer and photographer and later on the editorial board as both Senior Staff Photographer and Photo Editor. I graduated this year with my BA in Mass Communication degree with an emphasis in Journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans.

As a reporter, I've covered a diverse range of topics, spanning major citywide events such as Mardi Gras and the Jazz and Heritage Festival to pressing global issues like anti-trans violence, police brutality, and the ineffectiveness of law enforcement. All the while, my photography has taken me worldwide. With a diverse portfolio spanning fashion, travel, portraiture, events, and more, I'm dedicated to capturing raw beauty through my lens.

I am attending NYU for their Magazine and Digital Storytelling graduate program this coming fall. I aspire to explore the world and see my work published by major media outlets across the globe.
